The latest innovation from Protect•A•Bed® is the introduction of the Healthy Sleep Zone Solution.  Developed in conjunction with health consultants this new concept aims to help customers improve their sleep environment by providing sleep solutions for better health outcomes.

Allergies
30% of people have allergies of some description.  Many of these allergies to foods and environmental factors lead to an increased prevalence of Asthma, Hay fever, Sinusitis and skin disorders.

 

Dust Mites:
30% of people are allergic to the Dust Mite allergy. The average bed contains anywhere from 100,000 to 2,000,000 dust mites.

 

Allergies  - Bed Bugs:
Bed Bugs are an emerging health concern.  Once eradicated, Bed Bugs have recently returned to Australia.
Bites result in welts and severe itching that lasts for several hours or days.  Depending on allergic reactions and skin types the rash can last for weeks.

Once a mattress in infiltrated by Bed Bugs, they reproduce prolifically and will make a mattress completely redundant and necessitate burning within months.

 

Asthma:
2.2 million Australians live with Asthma, representing 1 in 9 adults (11% men and 13% females) and 1 in 6 children (16%).   The prevalence of Asthma is on the increase and has risen by 11% over the last decade.
